Will all the excitement of the new album mean that the 50th anniversary of Indiscreet be overlooked?
I do hope not, maybe some special tee-shirts available at the merch stall at the gigs would be nice!
Can anyone suggest a unique piece of merchandise…maybe an Airfix build your own diorama of the album cover? |

How about an inflatable Ron?
Perfect for when you require a stand in pianist and Kraftwerk are busy….

I can remember as a 16 year old saving my money and buying Indiscreet I think it was about 3 pound 50p and played the LP non stop for weeks, I still love the LP after all these years _________________ -------------------

I think I’d cry if they played either The Lady Is Lingering or Miss the start, Miss the end on this tour….

Thanks for the reminder, Alex - I'd forgotten that it's 50 years since Indiscreet (maybe that's just my age).
Attended my first Sparks gig in Leeds on that tour. Been to one or two more since then . . .
It'd be great to end the new shows with Miss the Start, Miss the End. Russell said recently that they would be playing at least one old, rarely performed song on the tour, so you never know. |

Oh l love Miss the Start, Miss the End......and those opening notes are really tough to hit on the nail ,there'd be a lot of vocal warming up before that one but that just shows what a great voice Russell Mael has!
(I don't want to think about 50 years.......yikes!) |

Not much room for Russell to take a breath during those verses either; "Miss the Start, Miss the End" is one of those songs that seems specifically crafted to show off his quality as a vocalist. |
