12 Songs - Neil Diamond

Wonderfully spare, Home Before Dark is just as good.
Was a fan of ND long before I discovered Sparks, saw him at the Greek in LA in 1971. Well, we all have at least one guilty secret! Still think Taproot Manuscript is amazing.

The Liberty of Norton Folgate - Madness (live at the Hackney Empire) - 8/10

Some very catchy songs and a great performance. A good old Cockney knees-up!
I've watched it three times now and it gets better each time.

I think the version Ace Frehley made is very good as it keeps close to the original. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

E-Clect it certainly were'nt broke was it kid-its a fully operational classic.I love Joan Jett's ballsy version of the Sweet classic "AC/DC"-it rocks. No one better to portray the meaning in that song better than Joan Jett,if you know what i mean,nod,wink...

Eddy..you say it sticks close to the original...is that the single version or the much (IMO)better rockier version?(I think the album Desolation Boulevard has the "better" version on it)

Alex-you know your stuff mate. The Desolation Boulevard version was much more stripped down-it was then re- worked for the single release quite a bit later, and proved to be very successful.I believe Sweet themselves preferred the re-worked version.I love them both equally-they both rock.Desolation is worth checking out.
