It would be interesting to know how old are Sparks fans and what's the "age structure" of the forum. :)
P.S. I'm terribly sorry, guys & girls, but the last point of my poll which was "over 50" had somehow dropped out while posting. :( So that doesn't mean I think people do not live over 50!!! ;)

Being a fan of any band is not limited to the age of 50 by any means. We are not dead just because we have reached that milestone. Oops, did I just say that?! |

Gee, don't be offended, folks. :) It's just for statistics... and of curiosity. Some forums that I visit have such polls, and I think it's interesting to know. And of course I've no prejudice against any age... I just didn't want to make the number of point too big. ;) |

Absolutely no offence taken Songbird. I am actually in the 6th category but act as though I belong to the third :-)) _________________ Carol wears Cacheral..... |

Dear me, rwolf'68, you're right!! The last point of the poll which was "over 50" had somehow dropped out & I didn't notice at once! Can I add it now?? |

It may apply to a faceless, nameless "few" at least on this forum if I'm not mistaken, since the band has been in the business for a "few" years! |

Looks like most of us are in that agre group that was in High School when Kimono came out -- I first saw Sparks on Don Kirshner's Rock Concerts, which was, in those pre-MTV days, pretty much the only way to see rock music on televison. |

May I take a wild guess and narrow down the poll further and suggest that the majority of visitors to these forums are now or will be turning 44 this year? (Judging by the response to how, when and where people first discovered Sparks.........sorry TTABEFTBOU was not the first single I bought, Metal Guru - T Rex was!) _________________ unwitting chaperone |

You know Cali....that statement you said is so true...I'm 37 years old, and my brand new girlfriend will not reveal her age to me..but I do know she is a lot older than me.....by 5 or 8 years....what ever her age...I still like her..
She says she embarrous to reveal her to me....thats find with me if she dosen't want to tell me...she's a nice looking red head...
She's a big time Pink Floyd fan. and a Trailer Park Boys Fan like me...I met her on TPB message board...
Right I'm Introducing.....Sparks to her...she said "that Sparks is different so fare" |

In olden days, when I was young, it seemed that all the other Sparks fans one could identify from afar (badges/t-shirts/carrying records etc) were all a fair bit older than I was. I am surprised that the over 50 category is not the biggest. _________________ Just sits and smokes |

I'm sorry folks. I've explained about the "over 50" category in my first post of the topic. There's nothing I can do now. |
