Dennis Waterman -I'll Be So Good For You
2/10
I just found out that Dennis Waterman was a real person >_<
I just thought he was a character the Little Britain-boys made up.

Primal Scream - Dirty Hits
Like most greatest hits albums it sounds a bit uneven, with their earlier tracks being the best, in my opinion. So it's a 7/10 _________________ "but we can hear what others can't hear..." |

Together We're Heavy - The Polyphonic Spree
10/10 Blissed out sunshine music from Dallas 46 legged peace & love machine.
I never tire of playing this album. There's more to it than their debut 'The Beginning Stages Of The Polyphonic Spree' and I have not heard such a huge production since the 70's. People just don't usually make such well crafted albums nowadays.
Look out for their new album in the Spring - The Fragile Army
And if they are ever playing in your vicinity, go and see them live - you will never forget the live energy given out, it is overwhelming. You'll also never forget the sight of 23 band members going mental dressed in robes / uniforms

Aerial by Kate Bush.
I'm not sure what to make of Ms Bush's comeback album. My expectations were quite high, and there was a loooong wait for it, so maybe whatever the album was like it would have seemed something of an anti-climax. However, it's one of those albums that's go alot packed into it, so I'll need to have a few more listens. Until then, I'm afraid it's only a 6.5/10 _________________ "but we can hear what others can't hear..." |

The View album, Hats Off To The Buskers. I seldom get too excited about newer bands but these guys are good especially Superstar Tradesman. From Dundee (Alex check the reference to the Ferry) _________________ But when I trimmed it real small my Jewish friends would never call. |

Had a quick listen to Superstar Tradesman...and to Skag Trendy and Same Jeans...very catchy.
Read their bio...so The Bayview was their local...well that was the self same pub where I saw a rabbit get skinned(Don't ask!!!)..why would Dryburgh boys drink in a Menzieshill pub???Ah well best not to question....I'll more than likely buy that LP....Cheers Bobby. |

The Bride Stripped Bare - Bryan Ferry. The album would have been better with fewer cover versions, or with its cover versions done in a less straightforward way (Take Me To The River, What Goes On. The Same Old Blues etc.). But it's still a well-played and moody album, so 8/10 _________________ "but we can hear what others can't hear..." |
