Its gotta be Parkinson. I am either at work or not at home from work for most of the other choices. _________________ Carol wears Cacheral..... |

Actually i watch these shows the most:
1) Have I Got News For You
2) Never Mind The Buzzcocks
3) Top Gear
4) Dr. Who
5) Later with Jools
6) TOTP
I would be great to have R&R on opposite teams in NMTB & HIGNFY, no matter what a Spark will win! Can the STICK drive Russells T-bird on Top Gear and Russell do a lap around with that chaep car :) Than Ron can perform in the next Dr. Who as a mad scientist. Those shows would present SPARKS to the general public as a funband. _________________ "Somebody's been putting pineapple juice in my pineapple juice!"

Exactly! This is the only show I know, and they show Parkinson on Danish TV. Sparks should be on this show, I vote for Parko _________________ Still, I am not bitter. Rather, I am an observer who saw first hand how life may not be fair |

I don't get much chance to watch many of these progs...admittedly GMTV is on in our house up to me leaving the house @ 07.00...but unless I get home in time for The Weakest Link...usually The Paul O'Grady Show is on(so that got my vote)...mind you seeing how Mr.O'Grady's acidic arch-campness would come across against the Brothers Mael and their laid back LA style would be worth watching.
@ Sparkswede...remember R&R were already on Never Mind The Buzzcocks(although in the same team)...and why does everyone want Ron to be a "mad scientist" bad guy....let him play the guy who saves the day....I'll bet Russ could play a good villain,he'd probably relish the role!! Where is that film idea of mine...I'll post it off to Russell T.Davies today...lol |

Must of missed that show of NMTB with R&R or i'm repressing the memory.
A good villain is worth a thousand good guys, let's face it they get to be remembered much more vivid if the actor really got into the part. I think Ron now looks like he just stepped out of a early moving pictures feature from the 1910-1930. Before the talkies, he could stay in caracter evil looks and not say a word. _________________ "Somebody's been putting pineapple juice in my pineapple juice!"

I voted "Later with Jools". The BBC regularly issue compilation DVDs + CDs of this show... So two bites at the cherry hopefully!! |

It would be brilliant to see the current Sparks line-up perform some Hello Young Lovers material on Jools Holland.
I always think the bands get a very good live sound on that programme like The Tube in the 80's, the live bands always sounded brilliant.
Sparks would truly shine on Jools Holland, any chance of getting them on there?

It depends who is on the show. Imagine a South Bank Special on the band. That would be worth it. Hell they had one on Iggy Pop.
I guess it depends on the crowd you're going for if it's them performing or being interviewed, I thought the radio interview with Ross worked well, he actually let them speak and their humour came over.
Can't stand Paul O'Grady. |
