Let's get people talking about Dick Around!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Music is clogged up with people who sound like someone else and Sparks are probably the only band making music that is completely unique
Dick Around is the furthest thing from James Blunt's songs and we need to make sure everyone knows that Sparks have provided the antidote for musical mediocrity
Here are links to the Dick Around video. It would be great if everyone posted these links on hundreds of websites and we get people watching and talking about the song and the band

I have already emailed a link of the 'Dick Around' video to my daughter and told her to email it to all her friends and on to their friends etc. to help the video get noticed, after all most of us started out getting into Sparks by hearing a single or seeing them somewhere in the first place. _________________ ....It's the calm before the storm...... |

No problems here, nor with the wmf neither with the mov one.
The wmf clip seems to have a better sound quality, but it may be just my impression.

Why does the video make me want to mass-produce cat masks for the Sparks shows?

Dear Crazed-Sparks-Fans,
Here's a rough draft of a recent article, I hope you'll enjoy:
I like to tune into Jonathan Ross on the rare Friday nights that I’m indoors and sober-enough to work the multiple remote controls for my TV, VCR, DVD and satellite systems.
A couple of weeks ago Imagine to my surprise when Ross announces that Sparks will be tonight’s musical guests. Ah yes, I think to myself, that ‘weird’ sibling-duo from L.A. with all those quirky songs from the 70’s. What a piece of nostalgia that will be seeing that ‘novelty’ act again.
How wrong I was. What I thought would be a trip down memory lane turned into a 150MPH drive down the wrong side of a busy motorway in a stolen Masarati with Richard Hammond at the wheel.
I can’t remember seeing or hearing anything as exciting as this since hearing ‘Smells like Teen Spirit’ or hearing ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ for the first time; the aural equivalents of losing one’s cherry.
Rewind a little, understand that I’m 36 and that the last couple of things that mildly exited me in the past ten years were Coldplay’s first CD and Mychael Danna’s soundtrack for the film Regeneration. I’m hitting on middle age, I’m cynical, I’ve lost my ability to get excited and I’ve got a mortgage and sundry bills to pay.
These guys are in their 50’s. They shouldn’t be making music like this. It’s against all known rules. They should be on one of those 70’s-slash-80’s nostalgia tour-packages, but then again, being against the rules is what Sparks have been all about, or at least making-up rules of your own.
Trying to define Sparks’ musical genre is like trying to pick up mercury with a fork. You’d get a pretty good Japanese Sparks imitation band if you had a mincing machine and your raw ingredients were Wagnerian opera, 20’s Weimar Republic torch-singing, Glam Rock, Spinal Tap, grunge metal and a for good luck a touch of saucy British large-breasted seaside humour. The end product would be similar, but not quite there.
If Norwegian proto-boy-band pop-monkeys A-Ha are currently getting industry awards and being name-checked by U2 for services rendered to general artistic influence, then only God himself is worthy to give thanks to Sparks. After all, they did write the number one song in heaven. |

I talk about Sparks so much and post about them so much online that I've already got a few of my friends buying their albums. So I'll keep it up! _________________ Popshifter.com: One Giant Leap For Fankind
