My psychic senses tell me this is going to be a great one. People will sway to Sherlock Holmes and bop to Moustache and generally have a rollicking good time.

And I won't be there! But some vino and the live stream will have to suffice. My Spidey senses also tell me that Russell will be in fine voice and wearing something particularly smart and flash and that Ron may loose control of himself just a little.

The real question of everybody's lips:

Wedding dress - yes or no?

i dont guess there will be wedding clothes

IMHO the album is packed with great songs but its horribly produced, this could be another winner of the 21x21 spectacular

Nicotinaaaaaa iiiiis her naaaaame

Yes, I've never much liked the production on Angst either, especially after the rich-and-fruity sound of Whomp. This may well be another of the "so much better live" renditions which are now piling up.

I am probably like many.

Logging on to see what people may or may not say.

I am quite keen about tonight's show.

I think the whole concept has exceeded my expectations.

It has been very, very uplifting.

I have enjoyed Sparks since I was a Tiny Teen.

I am 50 next birthday.

Very little has been as quitely influential as the Brothers Mael.

Hats off to Russels energy and enthusiasm - he is looking younger by each show and I think Ron should get on the mic and tell us sage like things more often.

It's wonderful and energetic - it's like I am 13 again or like Punk when I lost them , but they are enduring.

Potent and important and FUN.

At 13 years of age I nicked references for English essays and the ilk and now I sit with a glass of wine - kids and wife all out with a smile on my face.

I'd lost Sparks after '77 until '94 but I know it will be another great show tonight.

I thank you and take my hat off to your enduring intelligence and energy.

Good luck with the rest of the show.

Take a huge bow.

Thanks Dublin.

I had to get it off my chest.

Isn't it just remarkable?

The affection and effect.

...and that is why I chose "The Decline and Fall Of Me" as my choice for the Encore night.

The Decline And Fall....was really great. Whole thing was really.

Did Russell say he wanted people to vote for it? I couldn't hear what he said after that song.

Yet another album that benefitted from the live treatment. I've always liked this anyway, but live it just had that extra dimension. What a testament to how Russell has kept himself fit if that was THE original jacket!! Ron was, er....well....Ron. Angst & I Predict set things off in style, and Sextown U.S.A. raised the bar just that little bit again. Steve excelled on Sherlock & Nicotina - these tracks are made for a great drummer. Marvellous Mickey, magnificent Moustache, immense Instant, terrific Tarzan, dandy Decline (you get my drift), and ecstatic about Eaten - tonight's highlight for me along with Moustache. Minnie was magical.
Yes, Russell, this WAS a fun one tonight.

I love "Sherlock Holmes" and I have to agree that the drumming was spot on - I must confess I'd never noticed any drumming before.

That's what live shows reveal.

Hi - hats off to Steve.

Lovely show.

Thank you all.

Watched the stream. It was much improved today, I have to say. The show itself was a great treat, as this is one of my all time favorite Sparks albums. I have to say, about a third of the way through, I was a little worried for Russell as it sounded like his voice was weakening. Not a criticism, and may not be true given the inconsistencies with the feed, but it did SEEM that way. ANYWAY, that went away as the show went on, and Russell was in spectacular form shortly after.

And Ron - what a gracious thing he said - that Russell's vocals are topping the original recordings. He seemed very proud of his baby brother! I thought that was a great moment.
